Come along and learn how to make music with live coding! It’s fun and easy. No coding experience is necessary
This is an informal regular meet up!  We are planning to meet up every fortnight to encourage music making and learning.
Live coding is a really fun (and free) way to make music and you don’t need any programming experience to get started.
Join in and learn about tidalCycles or if you are already working with Live code, come along and show us what you got!
TidalCycles (or Tidal for short) is a programming language that allows you to make musical patterns with text, describing sequences and ways of transforming and combining them, exploring complex interactions between simple parts.
Read more here – https://tidalcycles.org
If you can
Please bring:
Headphones
A laptop with tidal cycles installed
—-> instructions here
Tidal is open source and can be downloaded for free here. https://tidalcycles.org/index.php/Installation
If you’re having trouble installing we can help out at the meet up.

Note:
In all our workshops we offer limited free spaces for marginalized folk, if you can’t afford our fees and identify in one of our priority placement areas, please fill out the form and include which workshop you would like to attend and we will get back to you. https://forms.gle/mYDY7gAyP8YzahzN9
